- Develop and execute channel-specific campaigns aligned with acquisition, engagement, and partner visibility goals.
- Develop, implement, measure, and optimise campaigns across owned channels and influencer collaborations.
- Amplify member perks, national brand activations, and community stories.
- Support and scale influencer and UGC campaigns, from sourcing and briefing to publishing and performance tracking.
- Manage community engagement and moderation with warmth, inclusivity, and consistency.
- Monitor platform trends and cultural moments to keep content fresh, relevant, and aligned with audience interests.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality Canoo brand presence across all social touchpoints.
- Track, interpret, and report on performance metrics, using insights to test, learn, and optimise.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years of experience in social media marketing.
- Proven track record growing Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts through organic and/or paid tactics.
- Strong knowledge of social media attribution, with experience using UTMs, link tracking, or integrated tools (e.g. GA4, Bitly, Meta Pixel).
- Skilled in creating audience-first, trend-aligned content that drives reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Experience managing or supporting influencer and UGC campaigns, including sourcing, vetting, and briefing creators.
- Ability to write, storyboard, and shoot short-form on-brand video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Familiarity with social ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads), even if not a primary responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to tie social metrics to broader organizational KPIs, such as app downloads or partner visibility.
- Strong copywriting skills, with a firm grasp of tone, clarity, and inclusive language.
- Comfort with basic graphic design tools (e.g. Canva).
- Ability to independently shoot content in public settings, with access to appropriate filming equipment (e.g., camera, microphone, tripod).
Strategic Capabilities
- Ability to develop and execute channel-specific content strategies that align upward to acquisition, awareness, and engagement goals.
- Experience interpreting performance data to optimise content in real time, balancing experimentation with brand consistency.
- Capacity to proactively identify and act on social trends, seasonal moments, and cultural opportunities.
- Collaborative mindset to work across teams.
- Familiarity with community management and moderation best practices.
- Awareness of how small details can make a big difference.
