Partnerships Coordinator (Bilingual)
With extensive experience in migration research, community engagement, and academic inquiry, Fatoumata is deeply committed to addressing the structural and systemic challenges faced by migrant communities. Her work centers on amplifying the voices of marginalized groups—particularly Senegalese artisanal fishermen—through a decolonial and community-based lens. Fatoumata emphasizes the importance of culturally responsive approaches and inclusive development policies that reflect the lived experiences of migrants. She holds a Master’s degree with a focus on International Development, and her research explores the intersections of environmental change, political economy, and migration decision-making. Fatoumata brings a strong foundation in qualitative research, intercultural communication, and social advocacy to her work in the settlement and integration sector.
