Partnerships Specialist, Western Canada
Originally from Quito, Ecuador, Paula holds a BA in Women & Gender Studies from Bates College (United States) and a Master of Journalism from the University of British Columbia. She has led international nonprofit projects and communications campaigns advancing gender justice, queer rights, and reproductive justice. Guided by an intersectional approach, her work amplifies underrepresented voices. At the ICC, Paula builds and strengthens partnerships that expand access, belonging, and agency for newcomers across Canada. Based in Vancouver, she enjoys hiking, walks by Jericho Beach, and binge-watching shows – especially Love Island!
