Originally from Algeria, Amine came to Canada in 2019 as an international student. He began studying Advertisement, Communication and Marketing at Collège La Cité in 2020, and over the years, Ottawa has truly become his home.

Having experienced the journey of settling into a new country firsthand, Amine understands the importance of feeling welcomed and connected. This perspective fuels his passion for helping newcomers build meaningful connections and feel a sense of belonging in Canada. He is excited to contribute to the ICC’s mission of strengthening communities and creating opportunities for people from all backgrounds to thrive.

Outside of work, Amine enjoys staying active by playing soccer, tennis, hiking and swimming, as well as biking around the city of Ottawa. He also loves meeting new people, building lasting relationships, and discovering everything his community has to offer.
